At this point our house has been on the market for over three months. We've had two open houses with a total of eight families coming to look. And we've had seven or eight other showings. And we wait...and wait...and wait. We are really in limbo. Our realtor wants us to lower the price but we've been hearing from other realtors that it's priced well. So we wait...and we've officially decided that we're not going to get our hopes up!

it's so exhausting i know. Have your realtor look at what the comparable sales would be on an appraisal. As long as you are priced right among those comps, then your appraisal would come back in around your selling price. if your selling price is higher than what an appraisal would come back at, you'd be in trouble. that will help you know about where you're priced at.

I'm torn... I don't want y'all to be in limbo..... but then again... I'm glad you're still next door! :)
our house didn't sell until after 6 months on the market. After every showing we'd wait anxiously, and then hear nothing :(
It is definitely stressful.
The worst part is all the work that you have to put into each showing and then the people say no. That's the most disappointing part for me.
