Picking up from where we left off...
after a morning of presents and doughnut thieves we headed to church and Christian made sure to tell everyone that it was in fact HIS birthday!
After church we headed to this fun Burger King for lunch. We were having an open house at home, so we had to stay away for two hours. Christian spent at least an hour playing in this rocket.
Christian has been wanting a rocket for a long, long time. He wanted one for Christmas but the only kind I could find were like $40 and I was not interested in that. So this little foam $5 one was perfect and believe it or not it hasn't been destroyed yet!
This Thomas pinata has been through 3 parties now. Christian had a Thomas party for his second birthday. Nathan used it as his party and since Christian still LOVES Thomas he's using it again! I think I've gotten my money's worth out of that fellow!!
Two silly boys who were very excited about the party.
Now Christian is actually not much of a party guy. We have to keep it simple with him. He does not like crowds and he gets very stressed out when we have lots of people at our house. So we only invited Emma, Abby, Nate, Aunt Mimi, Grandmom, PopPop and our neighbors. That was it! And it was perfect!

Happy Bday Christian! It seems like you had a great day! You'll have to get together with my boys and ride your bikes. I hope that my boys friendship with you will only get stronger as the years go by.
that's probably the only good thing about these NEW pinatas - instead of busting them open you have the pull strings. i didn't think about the fact that it makes them last longer! :)
We love it when the kids come running out to greet us. Being Grandmom is great, especially to such sweet children!
