Blueberry Picking

It was short lived. At 9:45 in the a.m. it was already about 99 degrees.
Will wasn't interested until he realized you could eat them. Then he was no help at all!
After 15 minutes we were heading back to the car and I was fine with it!

Ball Boy

It's been so fun for Christian to have his name on his baseball jersey! This is a big deal people!
As soon as he got his uniform he said "Grandmom is just going to love this." And boy oh boy did Grandmom love it! She's one of his biggest fans. Christian is playing tournament ball right now. His team has come in 3rd in both of the tournaments they've played in so far.
Christian's regular season baseball team wrapped up their season by winning the Championship! You should have seen Christian's face when he saw himself in the newspaper!

Sleepy Boy

My sleepy boy, snuggling his mommy.
Waking up from a nap is a hard thing to do.

Time Out

"Will you are not allowed to hit Sissy."
"No you can't get up. Stay right on that step."
"You have to tell Sissy you're sorry."
"That's fine. If you don't want to tell Sissy sorry, you can just sit on the step."

Tough Guy

Do you see that knot on his forehead?  It scares me how reckless he is sometimes. He will fall down, skin his knee, have blood running down his leg and he just gets up and keeps on playing. Maybe football will be his sport.

Summer Fun

We haven't actually seen Monsters University. We saw Despicable Me 2, but this sign was cute so we took some pictures.

My Little Mermaid

In May, just a few short months ago, she cried when I would wash her hair because she didn't like having water in her eyes.
 And now she does this.
She's been teaching herself to swim this summer.
She can swim from one side of the pool to the other (underwater) just by kicking her feet. She hasn't figured out the arms yet.
So this week we started swimming lessons.
She loves swimming more than any other "sport" she's tried.
So far we've tried soccer, ballet and gymnastics and she just might end up being our swim team girl.

Not a fan

Will is not a fan of the pool.
He's been in once or twice and had a fit the entire time.
He's pretty good at lounging next to the pool.

Last week I took him to a public pool with a zero entry kiddie pool.
He loved it. I guess he just likes water up to his knees and that's it.

Christian was such a good sport. He knew he had a baseball game that night, so he took it easy and didn't even go in the deeper pool.

Notice...Will's getting out because it was almost up to his waist. Way too deep for him.

I enjoyed my time with the 3 of them so much. When we left it was Will who said "That was fun. Thank you Mommy."

Fourth of July

Will went to his first parade on the 4th of July. At first he wasn't so sure...
 He ended up loving it.

There is always this Jubliee festival after the parade. It's hot. There are long, long lines. And it cost a fortune just to spend a few minutes on a few different inflatables. This year I decided to skip it and head to Friendly's. No one was complaining.
It was a fairly decent fireworks season for Ryan. He was actually home at a decent time on the fourth of July. We're all just so happy that VBS and the 4th of July are behind us!

Juggling

He was excited to keep 2 balls in the air at the same time.
Christian is actually starting to turn Ryan into an Orioles fan!

Soccer Camp 2013

Abby and Nate came to visit us for a week so they could go to our church Soccer Camp
It was such a great week for Nate! He gained a lot of confidence!

 Christian and Nathan warming up.
 Abby is a natural athlete.

Nate was loving all the action.
None of my kids are in this picture! But it's one of my favorites from Soccer Camp!
 Riley, Nate and Chrish.
Riley and Nate became great buddies.
Will wasn't old enough to participate, but that didn't stop him!
The first night McKenna came dressed in full soccer gear even though she couldn't participate either. Every night when the camp ended, McKenna headed out on the field to practice.

Abby in action!
