He's Here!!!

He's Here!! We are praising God for the safe delivery of William Ryland Chatterton this morning at 7:47 am. Little Will weighed in at 9lbs. 10 oz. and is 21 inches long. He has a chubby little face and lots of dark hair, and he is doing great!

Will's delivery only took about 10 minutes, and the entire procedure only took half an hour from start to finish. We are also giving thanks that Judy's spinal block worked completely on both sides, which means that she was able to be awake for the entire procedure. She got to hear her precious boy yelling loudly the moment he was born, which is always such a relief to hear. At the moment, Judy is in recovery and is doing as well as could possibly be expected.

There are 2 very excited older siblings in this house this morning! Ryan had texted a picture to me, and I showed both the kids when they woke up.

Auntie Mimi: Baby Will came out of Mommy's belly....and Daddy and Mommy and baby Will are at the hospital resting now.

Christian: Is that Will? What's wrong with his belly button?

McKenna: Will is out of Mommy's belly? I'm ready. Let's go now.

Lots of precious moments this morning! I'll do my best to keep you posted!
