Daddy's Girl

Over the last few months McKenna has become a Daddy's girl! The first words out of her mouth every morning are either; "Where's Daddy??" or "Is it a Daddy Day??" The weekend is now referred to as "Daddy Days" in our house because that's when Daddy is home.

It's so sweet! She loves to snuggle daddy and she prefers it when he's the one who puts her to bed or gives her a bath. Whenever I discipline her, she wants daddy. And whenever she's hurt, she wants daddy. I'm so glad that she loves her daddy so much!!! It's going to make the transition to being the middle child so much easier for her.

I know from experience that being a daddy's girl is one of the greatest blessings a girl can have. Especially if that daddy is a godly man working to lead her to her Heavenly Father :)

That's so sweet when they hit that age that they really start to realize there's somebody else there for them, too. And so nice for daddy. I know my husband sort of feels like he's on the periphery until they are 18 months or so because until then it's all "Mommy!" around here. :)
