Discovery Station

We went to our local children's museum called the Discovery Station! Our friends Ellie and Kate went with us! This was a special treat because Emma and Ellie are on spring break right now.
As soon as we walked in the doors Christian found a train table. He would have been happy to stay there the rest of the day.

Abby checking out this dinosaur.

And this was the highlight of the trip for the boys. They got to sit in a real airplane.

It was a little hard to get them out of it.

Abby and Kate were great buddies all day.

Emma and Ellie love it too!
Christian couldn't believe all the "stuff" that's inside a person.

The grocery store was a huge hit. Nate and Abby pretty much "bought" everything they had!

This is a corn table. I love the idea of a corn table. Sand tables are such a mess. This is a great idea and one of the stations the kids wanted to revisit over and over again.

Ellie checking Emma's eyes.

The girls digging up dino fossils.

Ellie would have been content to do this our entire visit! That girl loves reading!

They're playing with a type writer in this picture. It's definitely funny to me that they had to ask what it was.

This was one of Emma's favorite things....sending morse code messages. I don't think Abby really understood what was going on!

Christian loved this computer. I had no idea it would be such a big hit!
So that's just one of the things we were up to this week! It's been busy but fun!

What a fun day! It's good when everyone has a buddy to explore a museum with.

It's pretty sad that a typewriter is in a museum...guess I am ancient!!!
