"Mavis"

If you have a Thomas the Tank Engine fan in your house you know exactly who I'm talking about when I say "Mavis." Well, Christian was thrilled to see the "real Mavis" last week with his cousins.
Actually this wasn't the real Mavis. I don't think there is a real Mavis, but this train was black like Mavis, so Christian was thrilled. This was an outing for our playgroup at church and it couldn't have been more fun! I guess it could have if there hadn't been so many annoying gnats buzzing around, but other than that it was perfect.

The kids rode Mavis over and over again for probably 45 minutes! Nate even lost his flip flop and Amy had to walk around the track until she found it :)

And that's Emma's hand sticking out of that caboose. She and her friend Anessa waited and waited just to ride in that tiny little cramped caboose!
For all you local people; this train apparently runs every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 at Red Run Park. It's free, but I would suggest giving them a donation (there is a little box there to do so).
Thanks for planning this activity Holly! We had the best time and there was a great turn out! It was a wonderful idea!

I hate that we missed this but we were not having a good morning that day :(
We used to go there on sundays after church and Wyatt LOVED it--still does, actually!
