Since I sounded a little ungrateful on my last post, I thought it was about time that I do a Thankful Thursday to give a little praise to God for everything good in my life!
I'm so thankful that I married Ryan! Don't you love the picture from 1999?!! This is the first picture of the two of us together. I love it! I'm thankful that Ryan works hard to provide so well for our family! I'm thankful for his job that allows me to be a stay-at-home mommy!
I'm thankful for McKenna who is not a baby anymore, but who still loves to be snuggled and held and rocked! She got put in timeout yesterday for the first time and she has suddenly discovered the word "no." But I can see by her actions already the regret she has when she makes a bad choice. She always hugs and loves on me anytime she gets in trouble and it thrills me to pieces that discipline brings about a change of heart for this little girl (it hasn't always been like that with her brother).
I'm thankful for Christian! It brought delight to my heart and I know to the heart of God that Christian didn't ask to keep any of the toys we packed in our Operation Christmas Child boxes this past weekend. We spent almost 2 hours packing our boxes (something I could have done on my own in 20 minutes :) because Christian had to think about what went in each box and he had to organize it and make sure all the girl boxes had only girl things and the boy boxes had boy things.
Psalm 30:12
"I will give you thanks forever!"

I love the picture of you two!! It's fun to see pics of friends from 'long ago'!
I also love that Christian really gets into the shoeboxes. He is so sweet!
oh i love the post...and I love that first pic...is that my dress? ha ha..i feel like I had one like that at some point...but I think you had one too that was almost exact. :) hee hee...i loved those roommate days. I love this pic too...it reminds me that your story is a bit like ours. I think you should tell the story of you and Ryan in a post sometime. :)
McKenna is getting so big!
Hi Judy,
How fun to watch your beautiful kids as they grow up. I love Christian's focus as he packs the OCC boxes.I've noticed that our most recent postings don't seem to be updated on other blogs, including yours. Any ideas about how to remedy? In our most recent blog entry,we filled 16 boxes and we gave a shout out to our friend Christian in PA. Today, I'll begin the process of transporting our boxes into the sanctuary for Dedication Sunday and plan on more entries so be sure to check in with us again. We absolutely love Operation Christmas Child.

I like the picture. I don't know about that guy's facial hair, but you look hot. ....and, yes, I'm very thankful that I married you too.
I love that you're so grateful for your family. :)
I wanted to tell you that, yes, I have seen Abi's mom's blog. It's so amazing and inspiring! I actually get there from your blog and then to Abi's blog from there. I mostly posted about Abi's blog so I would have a way to get to it without going through so many other blogs. :)
