The Makeover (Kitchen and Family Room)

Align Center
So do you want to see what I've been working on????

BEFORE (when the old owners owned the house)

AFTER
I'm still waiting on the rest of my drapes from my seamstress (aka...my mother). They should arrive today :)
I don't think the color is showing up right in this picture. Obviously, it's red, but it's not really the shade you see in this picture.
BEFORE: This picture was taken the first night we saw the house.
AFTER: We changed the cabinet hardware, which made a huge difference. I hardly even notice the green counter tops anymore (which we will not be changing for a long time). I think they almost "go" with the room at this point.

Another "after" picture!
What do you think?

So, when you are done working on yours then you can come give me some pointers on ours. We are ready for a little change to spruce things up.

I love it. Red is my favorite color. We have a red "dining room" also and I think it is my favorite color in the whole house (Sherwin Williams Flower Pot). You have been very busy! I've lived here two years and still have rooms that aren't painted! I hope you are enjoying your beautiful home!

It's beautiful and I love the red! Maybe changing the hardware would help our green counter "disappear", too? Probably not, since ours is so much darker. Oh well.

I think your house looks great. You and Ryan have done an amazing amount of work in a very short time. Put up the rest of the curtains and take another picture. I would like to see how they look. Love, Grandmom
