Tuesday it got fixed.
On Tuesday we had a huge thunderstorm.
My parents lost power for hours, so they ended up at our house where everything was working.
On Wednesday we had no water.
We're going to have to replace our well pump.
It's terribly expensive.
On Thursday the well pump should get fixed and the drama better stop there.
884,000,000 people lack access to clean water.
3.575 Million people die from water related disease every year.
I don't have a whole lot to complain about do I?
We're making this a teachable moment.
I asked the kids....
How many people in the world don't have clean water to drink?
Abby: 3500 people
Emma: 4 million people
Christian: 12,000 people
Updated: So we found out that our well is 505 feet deep. In case you didn't know...that's extremely deep. It's all fixed now. We ended up being out of water for about 24 hours. It was expensive, but it could have been worse.

SUPER SUPER LIKE.... So sorry to hear of the expensive well that needs repair...but so true that so many are dying from preventable disease due to no clean water. Ugh...makes me feel disgusting at times. What a powerful lesson to teach our kids. :)
