Yup, that's right!!! In my opinion we've had more than our fair share of sickness in the last month!! Pink eye, the horrible nasty flu, a killer stomach bug...and that's just the Chatterton family. My sister'sgirls both have strep throat and some weird virus that causes blisters to form on their throats. Emma is missing school for the third time today, so I've got all five kids and I'm trying to keep the healthy ones away from the sick ones. Thankfully PopPop (my dad) is on his way to my house to help out. He's going to take the sick girls back to their house. I'm just so nervous about having them around McKenna.
Only the grace of God is getting us through this. I seriously thought I was going to have a nervous break down on Sunday night. It's pretty terrible when you're throwing up and you've still got an infant to nurse, but thankfully God blessed me with a capable husband who didn't whine about being endlessly woken up.
Have you ever been trying to fall asleep and a song keeps playing over and over in your head? This happens to me quite frequently although the song is usually the theme song from the Backyardigans or Thomas and Friends. Well on Sunday night this is what kept going through my head over and over again..."Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will up hold you with the right hand of my righteousness." I have no idea where to find that verse in the Bible, I haven't had time to try to look it up, but it was a great encouragement to me.
I do need to take a second to shout out a quick thanks to two of Amy's friends from her church in Massachusetts. Kristi and Jenn came down this weekend to spend some time with Amy and they ended up extending their stay just to help take care of the sick kiddos so I wouldn't have to. Thank you ladies for being such a blessing!! We'll be praying that you both stay healthy and that you don't catch any of our nasty germs.

Yes, you've had more than your fair share of sickness this past month! Thank goodness for family and good friends to help us get through, I wish I lived closer to help you out...because I definitely would!
I'm keeping you and the gang in prayer. The Chattertons and Marshalls are going to be a force to be reckoned with when you're all feeling better.
What a great verse! Thank God for His Word and for Pop Pops. We are still praying. I'm pretty sure you guys have set some kind of record. Anna
