Remember all my lamenting in my previous post about how Ryan and I were not handy and how we were a little overwhelmed by the idea of changing out our ceiling light fixtures?? Well, I started to put the lights together at the end of last week and that turned out to be the most complicated part. Believe it or not Ryan and I got all three light fixtures hung by Sunday night. I won't confess just how long it took us, but we both felt great that we accomplished this little project together. And it only took one phone call to my brother, Tim!

Tim and I are very proud. He had mentioned driving to PA to see everyone and do the lights if you were going to have to pay someone. Tim is almost a do-it-your-self-staff-Sargent. I constantly have to remind him not everyone is as resourceful, or handy as himself. None the less he is extremely proud of you and Ryan. He'll probably comment on this post himself.
Yay for handiness, brothers, and teamwork! : )
I can't say I'm surprised, I had a feeling you two, or at least you (no offense Ryan!) could do it! I remember you being very handy...but maybe those were just your "single and independent" days!

Congratulations guys! Did you finish all the lights on your anniversary or on Sunday?
I love the picture of the "Hands that hold your heart". They hold mine too!

Way to go! Doesn't it feel great to accomplish things around the house. Don't forget that if you ever need a hand with something, Adam is always willing to help.
