Typical Tuesday

Just a glimpse of our day...

Morning snuggle time with McKenna. Make sure you hear Abby singing to her (if you can ignore all the noise the boys were making). Abby was making up a song for McKenna. When Abby prayed at lunch time today she told God that McKenna was her best friend.

Making Chocolate Chip Muffins for snack time.

Christian and Nate mixing the muffins.

Christian "reading" Abby his new Dora & Diego (our latest obsession) book.

Window markers!! This was the first time we had ever used window markers. They were a huge hit. The clean up wasn't that bad ... no worse than bath tub crayons.

The trio literally spent hours today coloring with these window markers, so I'm putting them away for a week or two so they'll be new and exciting all over again!

A new song we learned today!

I love the kids singing at the end! I'm impressed with all that you can get done in a day! Your doing such a great job with so many little ones!

Wow! I commend your patience, I know it is not easy to stay home with children...although very rewarding. I'd never heard of window markers...I'll to remember those in a few years, we have 3 sliding glass doors they would be perfect on!

Dearest Jduy,
What an awesome Mom and Aunt you are! I know you must be completely overwhelmed at times but what you are giving the children is going to change thier lives (and yours) forever. What a blessing to all of you and to me as I watch from far away. I miss you so much some days and today is one of those days... hearing your sweet voice on the last video clip turned me into a blubbering fool. I love you and miss you.

Now Judy, realistically, do you really make chocolate chip muffins for snake on regular basis?? I have to give you a hard time. It looks like I need to buy some window markers, or for some to be given as a gift..hmmm. Your house looks great. I feel like a slob when looking at your pictures. Glad everyone had a great day.

Where did you find those markers? I've heard about them and heard they are great for car trips, but never seen them!

Those window markers sound fun... they are really not hard to clean? Maybe a free center idea for school.

Looks like a good time!! I know it is worth your while to keep the little ones busy, but I think it is great that you do it with such great activities! Go Judy!

I love your blog because it gives me the opportunity to step back a bit from the children, and see them with new eyes, just for a moment. Of course, I see them everyday, but seeing them through your eyes and having just a slightly different perspective, gives me the chance to see new things. Abby is really starting to grow up!! She has a maturity in her face and voice that wasn't there a few months ago. I love seeing that!

That was great to watch all the kids, and Abby even finished that part of the song by her self, I was very proud and she got some talent there from God and her parents. I definitely had to laugh though cause Christian is definitely I normal boy, but it was great, at his age to be joining in, he is definitely a cool kid.
