The Cat Chronicles

This is a follow up to my earlier post!!
Thanks so much for all the comments. I seriously just didn't know what to do! The cat still isn't eating (I'll be looking for some canned food tomorrow - thanks for the tip Millicent) and if it continues the trend I'm going to give my neighbors a call tomorrow morning. I found a little scooper, so I cleaned out the litter box and I found a brush and dust pan, so I cleaned up all around the food bowl and litter box. Maybe it's just a picky cat! I didn't find anymore gravel stuff to put in the litter box, but I think it's okay for now. The cat continues to remain under the dining room table. It has no interest in coming out to interact with me. But I did make sure it was still breathing :) and I figured I would just give him his space.
I think the next time they go out of town I'll just volunteer to mow their grass! I can't mess that up!!

haha "gravel stuff." thats funny! :) i'm not a cat lover, but we have 2 because my husband wanted to adopt these 2 cats (who's owner died of cancer, so i felt bad). anyway, not sure if someone else mentioned this, but sometimes when the owners are gone, the cats can be skiddish and can act really strange (like poop in places other than their box), and our cat vomits a lot, usually because he eats too fast because he's a bully and tries to get the food before our other cat starts eating. he's so greedy!

Judy, taking care of a cat is going above and beyond! Not that they are bad creatures, they just seem to only love their own homes -- they are so much harder to please (at least for me) than dogs, so bonus points for you on that. Cutting their grass??? That equals nobel peace prize material!
