August Vacay- Part 3

Will spent the entire summer refusing to go in the pool. We tried every trick to coax him into the water. He wasn't interested. I have no idea what clicked in his mind but one day we were sitting at the pool and I said, "why don't you jump in to daddy?" And he said "Okay." And that was that! It made our vacation so much more enjoyable!!!

I'm blogging from my phone so all these posts are going to be short & sweet with lots of pictures!!

We had the best family time with our kiddos! It was so refreshing not to have a schedule. We played"Headbands" and spent time on the beach, at the pool and at the playground.

August Vacation

I'm going to be in the car for the next 9 hours, so I'm going to make an attempt at catching up on some pictures you haven't seen.

We'll start with our vacation in August. It was actually a chilly rainy week but the boys got in the water anyway and Will & McKenna loved the sand!

 Seven years with this same crew.

 For the first five minutes Will kept holding up apples and saying "It has the crust on it." He's used to me peeling his apples :)

A Four Wheeler Ride with Mommy

Will is afraid of pretty much everything ....elevators, haircuts, the pool, flies, the tractor, the four-wheeler, the neutralizer, etc.

So it was a huge, huge deal when he suddenly decided that he liked the four-wheeler. At first he would only ride with mommy, but now he even rides with Christian (McKenna can't steer to save her life, so she doesn't get to be the driver unless her dad is with her).

So proud of my brave boy!
