Stay Tuned

We only had THE BEST TIME EVER on our visit to Baltimore! It was delightful to spend the day with just my boy and I have so many, too many, pictures that I'll try to post later today!
Christian and I made some great memories and had fun with Grandmom and PopPop too!
Stay tuned and check back later today if you want to see all the good times we had! We've got a lot going on today on so many different levels. Right now we're off to the doctor....again! More on that later.

Wordless Wednesday - Take 2

Wordless Wednesday

Wait a minute....forget the wordless post! Are those my kids wearing Red Sox shirts??? This can't be! Christian looks just as shocked as I am! And McKenna doesn't look too happy about this either! I think they're worried about what Daddy's going to say. He is NOT a Red Sox's fan. Hmmm...it seems like someone is trying to brainwash my kids! Could it be Auntie Amy? Not so fast....her kids ended up with the same shirts! It must be that die hard New England buddy of ours, Jenn! Christian loves his "baseball shirt" and wears it ALL THE TIME, much to his Daddy's dismay! If Christian ends up being a Red Sox fan we can all blame it on Jenn!

Another Bloggy Meeting!!

I never dreamed when I started blogging that I would actually meet people in the "blog world" before I ever met them in real life. But that seems to be happening all the time now! I got to meet a bloggy friend in real life the other night and it was so fun. This is the third time that's happened and I love it! We had a little swim party and Christian loved it!

My friend Heidi, has a sweet neighbor named Jackie who has been reading my blog for awhile now and leaving such sweet comments. She has encouraged me time and time again! Well, we got to meet her the other night when we went swimming at her house. I don't have a picture of Jackie because we were all swimming and I really do try not to take bathsuit pictures of people the first time I meet them :) It was so sweet how Jackie already knew Christian and McKenna and could talk to them about what's going on in their lives.

We had the best time and Bryson and Tanyon did a pretty good job of demonstrating to Christian how NOT to be scared in the water!

McKenna loved the pool and loved checking out the farm too!

And there's McKenna's buddy Addie! She loves babies just like McKenna. And she always gives McKenna lots of special attention! Those girls are going to grow up to be great friends just like their brothers are.
I mean seriously....Christian was in Heaven at Miss Jackie's house! She has a Power Wheels Gator for heaven's sake! He cried when we left!

Jackie, It was such a treat to meet you the other night! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We had the best time and loved getting to know you! Christian has told me several times that he really likes "Bryson and Tanyon's pool" because he can stand up and touch the bottom! Don't you just love how he calls it "Bryson and Tanyon's pool?"

Marshall Monday

Look carefully, Amy's in the background of this picture. Can you see her?

This is the only picture I ended up with of her from our mini visit this past weekend. She drove out to pick up her swing set and basketball backboard/hoop. And let me just tell you...I am so proud of us and by "us" I mean RYAN! Somehow we (and by "we" I mean RYAN too) fit her swing set and basketball backboard into her minivan and actually had all the doors shut! It was quite a feat and if you want something random to pray about you can ask the Lord to somehow help her to put it all back together again! I'm serious. She's got those two things and a set of bunk beds that still need to be put together and that is no small task.

If you've had a hard time getting in touch with Amy lately it's probably because she does not have internet service in her new house yet (I know, I can't even imagine the withdrawal) and her cell phone doesn't get reception in her new house. And that is a major issue, so she's getting a new phone and new phone number. And she's abandoning The Network. My minutes are going to start counting when I talk to her or the cousins and that just makes me sad. I'm actually going to have to pay attention to how long I talk now. I haven't had to worry about that in years!
As for the kids...they are having a grand time in Massachusetts with their Dad and Marshall family! Pray that they'll make some great memories with their family up there and that they have a safe trip home later this week!

I'm still here...

How is it that I only have two kids in my life now and I feel busier than ever?? I'm really slacking when it comes to blogging and I'm sorry about that, but you're just going to have to wait a little longer for a decent post. Between house showings (we had #10 today) and sick kiddos I just haven't had the time. The kids are feeling better, although McKenna is still having some issues that still have me a bit worried, so I'll be calling the doctor AGAIN in the morning. We had a quickie visit with my sister this weekend and Christian was so happy to see her! Wow that boy misses everyone! We went to the carnival and had a blast. We headed to the lake today during our showing. The showing was supposed to be between 4 and 5 and they showed up at 3:40! That was stressful! Don't they know I need every single second to get this house ready? And tomorrow we have an appointment in the morning and then we are heading out of town to visit my parents for a few days (remember how they have dial up Internet??? so I won't be blogging). It's a good time to leave since my house looks perfect. Now I can just leave it that way and hope that lots of people want to come see it while we're gone (NOTE to RYAN: Please make the bed everyday while I'm gone :) Thanks honey!!)
So that's the latest!! I would add some pictures, but they're all on my camera and I haven't had the time to download them. I know, I know this blog is getting boring. I told you that would happen when the cousin leave. Anyway, if you think of it could you pray for Olivia's family this week? They're hopefully having a blast at Disney!! I've been thinking about them a lot and praying for them a ton. I want them to have the time of their lives, but I'm sure that's so hard to do with out Olivia. Just pray for them.
So I'll be back on Thursday :)
Blessings to you until then....

P.S. Didn't I just say I wasn't going to blog for real because I didn't have time? Well, I guess I just made time! It's way too late (let's just say it's the AM in the middle of the night right now) and I downloaded my pictures and there will be a few posts appearing every now and then while I'm gone! Now off to bed and this time I mean it!

I think we're in recovery

from round two of this stomach virus. Christian hasn't thrown up in a couple of hours and has had some crackers and juice. Thank you LORD! We have an appointment with the pediatrician on stand-by for tomorrow morning. I talked to the nurse at our pediatrician's office a couple times today. She kept reassuring me that there is a very bad virus going around that lasts up to 48 hours. My kids just get super sick when they get any kind of stomach bug. Christian had one virus in which he vomited for six days straight. And then another one where he ended up in the hospital and a different one where he had to get shots to make him stop throwing up. Sheesh...so I guess I should just be thankful this one is over. I think anyway. He's been so sweet about the whole thing. He turned into this delightful little snuggle bug that didn't fuss for a second the whole time he was sick. He seems to be getting turning back into his usual feisty little self, but Auntie Mimi is coming for a visit, so I'll let her handle any fussiness that pops up!
McKenna did make me a little worried today. She was eating lunch and fell asleep with her head on the table in the middle of eating. What in the world?? I've heard about kids doing that, but not my McKenna. Not that girl that takes an hour to fall asleep everytime I lay her down. So please Lord, please, please, please don't let her get this virus again! Keep my girl healthy Jesus! Her little body can't go through that again!

MINE

That's the latest word in McKenna's vocabulary. She was saying it yesterday, but I wasn't sure she knew what she was saying. But today she was very clearly screaming "mine" as she tried to pull something out of Christian's hands. Oh boy!
